State Senator Al Landis | The Ohio Senate
State Senator Al Landis has been recognized by the Ohio chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP) with the 2025 Ally of Economic Development Award. This accolade was awarded for his contributions to legislation that has supported economic growth in Ohio.
“I’m grateful to have received this award from the NAIOP,” stated Landis. “Ohio’s economic future is bright and I am glad to have played a role in crafting legislation to ensure that we are in the best possible position to support and grow our economy.”
Landis, alongside Senator Andrew Brenner, co-sponsored Senate Bill 94 during the 135th General Assembly. The bill aimed to enhance lien law, thereby facilitating real estate transactions. It also sought to expedite real estate cases, allowing distressed properties to be sold and repurposed for productive use, benefiting Ohio's economy.
The NAIOP of Ohio supports over 500 businesses across various industries within the state. Their efforts focus on attracting talent, creating jobs, and stimulating economic activity to bolster Ohio’s economy and quality of life.
