State Senator Al Landis (R-Dover) announced the Ohio Controlling Board's approval of $20.7 million from the All Ohio Future Fund for the Muskingum County Development Site. "This funding secures a significant amount of investment into Muskingum County and the surrounding Eastern Ohio region," said Senator Landis. He emphasized the potential business attraction and opportunities this project could bring to Muskingum County and the 31st Senate District.

The development aims to address infrastructure deficiencies, such as water and sewer systems, which have previously hindered business attraction to the site. The approved funds will aid in developing nearly 700 acres in northwest Muskingum County, fostering job creation and capital investment projects.

The All Ohio Future Fund was established in the 2024-25 state operating budget with support from Senator Landis. It represents a $750 million investment aimed at preparing local communities for economic development projects, administered by the Ohio Department of Development.
